The Wedding of Emily and Brent Saxion
Before I get to the wedding, I must begin my story of Emily and Brent a few months back. In February 2015, just after Valentines Day, I met Emily and Brent and their children in The SweetLane Chocolate Shop in Vandergrift, PA, among snowy streets and red hearts in every window. We spent about an hour with them capturing a truly unique engagement session to fit their relationship and personalities... sweet as can be! This candy and milkshake shop, which Emily's parents and grandparents visited as children, has been a staple in Vandergrift for over 65 years! On July 11, 2015, their wedding day had finally arrived....
It was a beautiful day to celebrate the marriage of Emily and Brent. The walk down the aisle took place at Apollo Presbyterian Church with the reception following at the Lenape Heights Golf Club in Ford City, PA. Family and friends gathered to celebrate this wonderful pretty-in-pink occasion. I absolutely adored how she tied in the theme from the engagement pictures into the wedding day with the similar style bridesmaids dresses! The entire day had a beautiful classic wedding theme, with fun pops of pink and of course... a candy bar! Enjoy these special moments from their big day!
