I have been traveling most of my life. As a child, we didn't have a lot of means but my family still found ways to travel on a budget. (I once took a Greyhound bus from Pittsburgh to Houston Texas to visit my grandparents). My dad's side of the family were Pittsburghers for generations, but my mom's side were scattered among many states, including Alaska. We drove many miles in an old station wagon, kids riding in the "way way back" which I realize now is probably forbidden by our current laws of the road. I never lost my travel bug, I feel it gets instilled as a young person and once planted - never goes away. I began my love of photography by capturing landscapes but my focus quickly grew into people being my main muse. I found that capturing people in the moments of their lives was my biggest love in photography, but landscapes have always been a close backup love for me. As an adult, I've been to countless locations around the globe and hope to share these locations with my followers and clients, thus this travel page of my site was born.

In 2018 my daughter joined us on this amazing big blue planet and by her first birthday had already been to other states and out of the country. I knew I was going to plant that travel bug within her, but didn't realize to what extent at the time. In her first year we traveled three times, one of which was to Montreal to photograph a wedding. I realized she was destined to be a child of the arts and travel, learning that we explore the globe to learn, explore and appreciate those places but also that our family also has a goal to capture other places- and other people in photographs. In her second year, we hit the beginning of the pandemic, so decided to venture outdoors and took several weeks to explore a road trip up the New England coast to Acadia National Park in Maine. As a 1.5 year old, she was crossing her 10th state just months after she learned to walk. Before her third birthday she traveled down the east coast for several weeks exploring many beaches all the way to Savannah, GA where she fell in love with the southern culture. Shortly after her third birthday, we took her on the longest journey yet- which was by car along Rt 66 to New Mexico, then north through Colorado and back to Pittsburgh. She spent a month exploring landscapes and cultures many adults have never been to and she still talks about those memories, which impacted her greatly. Our next adventures are already planned and of course can't wait to share the experiences from those as well.
