I've been photographing Madison since she was a little girl, so having the opportunity to capture her wedding was a true pleasure and honor for me! I couldn't have been happier for her, and seeing her smiling all day warmed my heart.

A week before Madison and Conner exchanged vows, the weather forecast predicted a record-breaking heatwave. We prepared for an exceptionally hot day, especially since the wedding location lacked air conditioning. However, when the day arrived, the heat wasn't a concern for anyone. The joy and happiness were more intense than the June sun. I kept telling my second photographer, "Wow, they are adorable!" as Maddie and Conner glanced at each other, giggled, and exchanged playful looks across the room. It was evident that they were meant for each other and destined for this day.

Following a beautiful ceremony on the lawn behind the big barn at West Overton Village, guests gathered at the distillery and museum for cocktails and appetizers. Despite the heat, the bride, groom, and bridal party posed for wonderful photos outside, before moving to the barn for the reception. Their green-themed decor with tables named after trees perfectly suited this couple who loves hiking. 

In a few weeks, they will embark on their biggest adventure yet—a move to Hawaii, where Conner will be stationed in the military. I wish this deeply in-love couple all the best, and I look forward to seeing where life takes them next.
