Hi Brides! I am so excited to tell the world about a new division of SkySight.

{ SILENT SHORT FILMS }

In 2013 we launched Silent Short Films for weddings. These are non-traditional wedding videos set to original music. Perfect for someone who wants video captured, but not particularly interested in traditional videography. We did two weddings last year which are now our samples, and we are actively beginning to book them for the future based on the amazing feedback we've received for them.

The films usually run about 10-15 minutes long. They are shot in a very cinematic way, using lots of creative angles and editing techniques. My husband, Bill, runs the entire production of this service while I continue to focus on photography! ;) Bill works as a film composer for his business, Sunfall Records, so for each Silent Short Film that we shoot, he will write and produce an original music score to sync with the video.

Our films are designed more to showcase the emotion of the day through the creative use of cinematic footage & custom music, as opposed to a more traditional wedding video which is designed to document each event in it's entirety throughout a wedding day. Depending on what you want to get out of your video, they can be a great option for clients that are seeking something unique and new. They are also great for sharing with friends and family as they are optimized for playback on mobile devices and online formats such as Facebook, YouTube, etc. Pricing begins at $2400 for 8 hour coverage.

It's probably best to let the sample speak for itself as viewing one will give you the best idea of the style and dynamic that makes them unique and special.

As a side note, we will be booking just A FEW films this year, so that each one can have the proper time dedicated to the editing and music production.
